Hostalen 3531B

LyondellBasell

Description

Hostalen 3531B is a natural color polyethylene resin with high melt viscosity for extrusion. The product provides good stress crack resistance properties (ESCR) combined with long term hydrostatic strength at raised temperature.
Based on ISO 9080 evaluation, the product can be classified as PE80 with a minimum required strength (MRS) of 8 MPa according to ISO 12162. Hostalen 3531B fulfills the requirements of DIN 16833 and ISO 24033 for PE-RT Type I material. This includes e.g. application class 4 according to ISO 10508 for underfloor heating pipes.
Hostalen 3531B offers good long term heat aging stability and extraction stability.

Typical customer applications are: Underfloor heating pipes and pipes for heating and cooling.
